Corporate employee handling

Since the 80's the focus has shifted from doing what is better to support community growth which comes back around as higher and more frequent customer spending returning that investment to the corporation.  The shift has been turned on it's head to something that only care's about shareholder pay increase's every quarter.

This shift cause's corporations to do the worst acts and unthinkable acts.  Unthinkable because any sane person would not think of it and would reject the thought if anyone brought it up.  To pull off this shift of money to as few of people as it can go while reducing spending ends up resorting to every unethical, immoral and illegal act you can get away with.

  1. Cut employee count.
  2. Reduce employee pay.
  3. Reduce employee benefits.
  4. Deregulate
  5. Increase product/service costs to customers.
  6. Reduce product/service quality control.
  7. Reduce product/service quality.
  8. Reduce customer support.
  9. Automate tasks
  10. Reduce competition
  11. Demand additional payment from customers beyond price hicks, interest and penalties.
  12. Get subsidies
  13. Add cost to things that work and grow fine with out it.
  14. Ignore public and customer view.
  15. Relocate to a cheaper location to reduce operating cost.

The above list of garbage just grows as the desire to increase shareholder pay every quarter.  The actions do have an effect beyond just growth to shareholders, it has a weakening of economy which is a self eating cycle needing to kill off more out going pay to give birth to incoming pay.  This result is spending power of local economy shrinks resulting in lowered profits shareholders seek.  The self eating cycle will continue until there is nothing left to eat.

You will see things not listed because Shareholders don't want to reduce potential income from other sources and they don't want long term wait on returns.

  1. Reduce executive spending
  2. Reduce executive pay.
  3. Reduce transportation costs.
  4. Reduce utility spending.
  5. Increase local spending power.
  6. Increase community quality of life.
  7. Reduce local cost of living.
  8. Increase public view.
Things that will increase spending power of the local economy in the long run is hardly looked at in recent years.  History has shown us that the best economic growth came from doing the later list.
